Welcome
Dates for your Diary
Nestled near the banks of the picturesque River Bure in the heart of Upton, The White Horse is a historic and welcoming community pub. With a legacy dating back generations, we are proud to be the longest-established community-owned pub in Norfolk.

In 2012, our community rallied together to save this cherished local landmark from closure. The White Horse Development Trust was born, and with unwavering dedication, we secured the pub's future.
The addition of a community shop filled a void when the village shop and post office closed, making us a vital resource for Upton residents.
Beyond being a place to enjoy great food and drink, we are a vital part of village life. The White Horse Upton provides a warm and inclusive space where people can connect, share stories, and build lasting friendships.
We take pride in being an antidote to social isolation, welcoming everyone with a friendly face and open arms, whether you're a local or a visitor.

At the White Horse Upton, you'll find a warm and inviting environment, a commitment to community, and a genuine passion for delivering an exceptional pub experience.
We welcome you to come and see for yourself why we are at the heart of Upton village life.
