The Norfolk Wildlife Trust, who protect and manage the 483 acre biological Site of Special Scientific Interest, Upton Broad and Marshes, have produced a set of stunning walks for visitors to The White Horse. All starting from the pub's front door, each walk is designed to help you explore the beautiful Bure Valley Living Landscape. Just 'click' below to discover the delights of this picturesque area.

2.5 miles, walking time 1.5 hours. This route will take you along the River Bure, past grazing marshes and dykes.

5 miles, walking time 2.5 hours. River Bure via Fishley Church and Acle.

8 miles, walking time 4 hours. This walk takes you past broads, dykes and the River Bure via St Benets Abbey

3.5 miles, walking time 2 hours. This wildlife walk takes you through the NWT Upton Broad and Marshes reserve.



5.5miles, walking time 3 hours. This walk gives spectacular views of grazing marshes and dykes, along the River Bure.
